Road Trip

Gail, Mad, Cat and Patti packed up in Cat's van and went on a road trip to Quilt Odyssey in Hershey, PA. Besides the attending the quilt show, they stopped at a few quilt/sewing/craft shops along the way.  What a fun day it was.

Mad, a knitter, was disappointed that this shop was closed. It was located in the plaza where they stopped for dinner.

Sewing Day and a Birthday

The Jersey Girl Quilters were finally able to get together to have a sewing day.Their quilting pal, Lois, joined them this time.  First thing they did was celebrate Patti's birthday.

Look at the beautiful Professional Tote that Kat made for Patti.

Then the sewing began. The project of the day was the 1600 inch strip quilt

Hard to believe that this mess of fabric would be a quilt, huh!

Stay tuned for the finished quilt tops.
