Anita Goodesign Seminar

Gail, Mad, Cathy and Patti attended an embroidery seminar by at Stonybrook Sew & Vac this evening. The seminar was given by a representative from Anita Goodesign, a company specializing in home embroidery designs.

Cat was stitching out one of the cutwork designs that were available on the sample disk that all attendees received.

Mad loves owls and she got a kick out of these two sample designs that were part of the trunk show. Did she get these designs?? What do you think??


All attendees received discounted pricing for all available designs on hand. Also goody bags with freebies were given. Door prizes were handed out. Snacks were provided. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the presentation.

June Sewing Day

The JerseyGirl Quilters got together for a day of sewing at the usual place, Cat's house. Even Kat was down for a few days. Everyone had projects they were working on.






Mad did a few blocks from the block of the month project from Pastimes Quilt Shop.
BTW Pastimes is under new ownership.

Gail did a table topper based on the Easy Stripe Table Runner pattern.


Kat's been commissioned to do a few quilts for a customer.
Here's a peek at the top that she completed for one of them.

Mad made a dress from a onesie for her granddaughter AA.

Cat's Jacket

Cat whipped up this really easy jacket that only took her a few hours. The pattern is Kwik Sew #3564 by Kerstin Martensson.
