Block of the Month Quilts

This is an old, old project. A few years ago, all the Jersey Girls signed up for the Block of the Month Program at the now closed Past Times Quilt Shop. We just were not able to get pics of them all together until now. Gail's and Kat's quilts are done. Mad, Cat and Patti have their tops done.

November Sewing Day

The November sewing day was spent celebrating Mad's birthday and working on finishing up some projects.

Bag Class

Cat, Patti and Mad took a class on Black Friday instead of going shopping. The class was a free one at The Village Quilter. The pattern was called the Buttercup Bag and itt's a free pattern on the internet. These bags make cute evening purses.

Magical Mistletoe Tour - A Mini Shop Hop

Visit these 5 shops during the month of November for a free pattern to make a holiday quilt. The Jersey Girls shop hopped on Veteran's Day, November 11.

Class Time for the Jersey Girl Quilters

The girls have been sewing togther these strips of fabric. They each made four stratas of these strips.

2011 Quilt Retreat

For the 3rd year in a row Patti, Gail and Mad spent a week in the Pocono Mountains quilting, sewing and just relaxing. Cat wasn't able to go but she sewed virtually with them for a couple of days. For pictures of the area where they stayed, see this post over at Mad's blog.
