February Sewing Day

The Jersey Girls finally set a sewing day, Saturday, February 4. But unfortunately Gail and Patti were both sick and unable to make it. So Cat and Mad got together, ate pasta salad and brownies and sewed.

Cat finished this quilt for her sister in law that she had been working on for awhile. This was a quilt that her sister in law had made years ago but it didn't come out quite right. Cat decided to take it and hook it up. What she did was cut out the blocks and made a new quilt. She did a fantastic job. This picture does not do this quilt justice.

Cat also made a quick Quilt Smart Smart Bag with some fun fat quarters.

Mad made another Quilt Smart Mondo Bag. She really likes this bag and it is the 4th one she made. She used a jelly roll of batiks for this bag which will be a gift for someone.

The Pemberton Quilt

Gail made this quilt for her granddaughter who is in high school. She used the school colors to make the quilt and embroidered the school mascot on one of the blocks.
